I know I have changed this last year

I’m different physically since I suffered the miscarriage of my son, and I still have just a little of the extra weight I had put on for carrying him and subsequently.

Chiara says I am quieter than before. We still enjoy the things we did but I don’t give opinions readily, in her view. She is accepting so she’s not going to say which version of her Mama she prefers!

I know I am more ponderous (if that is the right word), I think a lot more about what I am doing than perhaps I would have beforehand. Chiara says I am a little more suspicious of people than she thought I was. I smile but she senses that I am challenged by situations.

Chiara is growing into a beautiful young woman who astounds me daily with what she does. She is a graceful child but still very much a tomboy!
