Brothers, sisters, parents, kids? No.
First cousins? No.
Second and third cousins? Fine. The science says third cousins share less than 1% DNA. Same risk as strangers.
Age 55+? Generally safe, but the real rule is confirmed menopause. No period for 12 months = no pregnancy risk = no birth defects.
Accidental pregnancies and birth defects are why I draw the line at close relatives. If that risk is gone, I don’t care.
Kids involved? Hard no. Consenting adults? Do what you want. Bedroom, car, train station.....I couldn’t care less.
I’m not the government, but they’re in our bedrooms anyway. Funny enough, some states already agree with me, they only ban cousin marriage if you’re young or fertile. If you’re old or can’t have kids? You’re good.
Am I endorsing this? No. Would I do it? Hell no. But if it’s safe and consensual, who am I to stop them? Let people live.

@HumanEarth yes broadly agree with you. But saying ok to sex is more than just the acceptance of getting pregnant.
I might not be able to seed someone. My sperms might not be potent any more. Does not mean i can do what was not proper to me when i was 30.
Arguments apart, i have nothing against incest as such. Age and concensual is of course must as a criteria.

@HumanEarth i guess i am not very knowledgeable in that case. I thought sperm count dies and potency drops dead as well.

Ok for adults, i feel. But, also many instances are of sibling growing up and curious. Cannot decide on that. Perhaps it stops short of incest.

You're talking about adult members of the family right? Because whenever people hear "incest" I think their minds quickly jump to child abuse, or at least so does mine, because that's often the type of incest that happens.
