Nothing is wrong! Dad came home from work and cleaned the house, then painted with the little ones and spend some time cuddling with mom.
He then prepared warm milk for the baby, grabbed a beer and sat on the couch...
Mom is happy and making dinner for all.
Children came to show mom what they made when painting with dad ;)

@Ontheroad No, I am thinking how we project onto images as we are programmed, by experience and era's dynamics..... I was looking at the image and thinking of a different narrative - not the one our stories wants to imply, but another one, - and perhaps that is why I am not there, married with a family .. !

Let's see...
- The sofa is facing the kitchen not the TV (makes it hard to hear the TV).
- The children are not competing with each other (doesn't happen in real life).
- For as close as she is to the pot, her glasses aren't steamed up (maybe she has "Clark Kent" glasses).
- The man's legs are different sizes (so are the woman's arms).
- The woman is (a.) pregnant (month 6 or 7), (b.) cooking, (c.), dealing with children ... AND is smiling (in real life she'd be yelling and/or throwing the pot/used green diaper at the bum on the sofa).
- The stove has no control knobs.
- How is the little girl holding onto the picture, as all 5 of her fingers are on one side of the "drawing"?
- House is TOO clean ... especially in a house with 3 kids (even maids can't do that good of a job).
- There's no vent over a gas stove (major safety hazard).
Shall I go on???
