We went to early Mass and now we are at my parents house
It was a busy day yesterday, and I went out last night with two of my girlfriends. Although we took a taxi I didn’t drink much at all and I could have been the designated driver for the three of us.
We went to a popular bar club where we could have a dance. It was fun and much needed for me. My friends were there if I needed them but we spoke largely about music and summer dresses. Just lame stuff that wouldn’t upset me.
Chiara and I are going to Capri on Wednesday for a week of sunshine and relaxation. We are staying at a hotel so we won’t have any cooking to do or anything. Topless sunbathing is frowned on on Capri, and there are no official nudist beaches or anything. We will enjoy the sea but we will also enjoy a little mother daughter time before Chiara begins her ballet gala.
It’s sunny today in Rome and expected to get up to 37 Celsius this afternoon. We will likely stay at my parents house for the rest of the day. They have a nice garden that gets full sun. Chiara will help Mama with her tomatoes.
