i suggested once again as i have for decades the half acre grass lawn should be filled with numerous trees. the advantages are many including less cost and hard work trying to maintain the perfect manicured lawn like a baseball diamond or golfcourse. meanwhile his perfect lawn is now brown baking under the hot sun with no rain for past 3 weeks. meanwhile my property is lush green with much shade from numerous trees. i love the fragrance of my loblolly pines!! it is abuzz with many types of bees and other fascinating insects. i also have a rainbow of color thanks to many perennials. each year the amount of grass in my yard is shrinking as i smother it a section at a time and replace with something native that will easily thrive. the trick is to make it appealing to the neighbors so you dont get harassed with nasty letters from local officials. i also had to inform them my brushpile is going thru compost process.👍 good grief
