Also thinking back on my parents I realize now that I think my dad intentionally tried to fill out the weekend because family time was boring
Like I remember literally sitting in the car for 2 or 4 hours driving to a fair or something that I am sure he and my mum would never have gone to see on their own.
In hindsight now I think it was just an idea of, "well I guess spending a long time driving in the car is better than being stuck at Showbiz Pizza or Chuck e Cheese wasting money for 2 to 4 hours".
I live alone and I rarely ever get in the car for 2 to 4 hours and if I ever had to I am way more likely to just hop on a plane.
