Is 18 years old... too old for a spanking?

When I was 17-18 years old, I had always a lump in my throat when I was going to be spanked by my dad. Most of the time, I was sick to my stomach, so scare and especially disappointed in myself for having done something deserving of being spanked at my age .It often happened after the punishment that I wondered if at my age, I wasn't too old for getting spanked like a little spoiled brat. Now, in my old age, I am torn between thinking that at 18,itis too old for a spanking and yet I do think some young adult at 18 years old and more need to be disciplined and to accept the consequences of their actions. Like it or no, I am sorry... a 18 years old lad is not an adult .Most 18 years old and plus still have a lot a growing up to do, a lot of psycho-sexual maturity to acquire and a ton of social abilities to get. I would say, this happened in my generation, and this is going to happen now but ,as I have suggested in a previous post, this needs to be consent from the one getting spanked and disciplined and under he conditions that this can still happen if you still live at home and he pushes it too far.
