All day while I'm at work I just think about the awful ways my family treats me.

And will continue to treat me because they don't recognize it and never will.

I can't do anything without being distracted by the heartbreak.

My mind doesn’t even stop there. I continue to think of stories I've heard from other people — the way they were treated even worse — and it breaks my heart deeper.
