I dish out what was served to me. I think it can't even be anyhow else because where was I supposed to learn to be there for someone in crisis when nobody was there for me when I needed it? And of course there's still resentment that makes it hard to even fake deeper kind of caring. Sure enough I'm going to be the bad guy again. If...so be it.
