. I don’t regret one moment of it. Caring for my Dad was a honor and privilege. I say “was” he passed away in May 2018. He just turned 98 in March. For some reason I wanted him to live to be 100, but God wanted him home. Looking back at pictures I can understand. I miss him so much.

I relate to this so deeply. I also spent time caring for my dad, and looking back, I realize it was one of the most meaningful roles of my life. We don’t get them for as long as we wish, but the love we give them stays with us forever. Stay blessed.
