I’m just as tired today as I was last night, my sleep broken

I knew my daughter was in bed with me, she was moving around a lot. I think we are both affected when Edoardo is away from home. I am also very worried about things I never used to worry about in the past. I guess as you get older you go through a number of chasms in your transition to an older you. Your responsibilities weigh in on you in ways you never considered and it causes you some broken sleep through the stress.

We got up together and we went to the bathroom together, first to pee and then to get ready for the day. She has several humanities classes today. Thursday is mathematics and science day, which she doesn’t mind so much. I was different in my school, I liked history and geography classes. We had the underfloor heating on so we could walk back to get dressed as we had going to freshen ourselves for the day.

Chiara was happy exercising with me before we finished dressing for the day. Fresh uniform for her but I could pull on yoga wear for the trip to school and I am sitting with an espresso still wearing the same outfit now. I am likely to stay in it all day since I am working from home and I don’t have any conference calls scheduled.

I’m making meatballs for dinner tonight so I will probably work this morning and then start making everything this afternoon before I go to collect the girls.
