She also said she is going to the Vigil tonight at the Cathedral, and Chiara, Edoardo and I will be accompanying her to that.
Today we get about food preparation for dinner tomorrow. It is all prepared so that no one has to labour in the kitchen overlong tomorrow. It is one of the most important family days of the year. The most important is Easter/Paques.
I have been told to rest more today, as my morning sickness is peaking now and I am very hopeful that it will begin to ebb off a little now. Chiara has been amazing with my brother’s baby, giving his wife a little respite. She has to be careful as baby blues can switch an act of help and support into a fear of baby theft, to some newer mothers. My brother and his wife welcomed their second child almost four months ago I think.
It’s funny how much distance between family members can change the family dynamic.
