We have been to early Mass at the Cathedral
My grandmother was so happy to have the whole tribe together for Mass. We went early so as not to displace the ten o’clock church goers and we were glad to have the room. We are now being ferried in groups back to the farm for our breakfast.
As a family we never usually carry much on to the airplane because we have clothes at our Nonna’s house, but there were things we did need to bring. Chiara forgot her underwear and there are no clothes shops open until tomorrow here.
I suppose it’s an incident of bad mothering that I didn’t pack her small valise myself, or at least check it, but it isn’t really a worry. She has one more week left in her cycle so she can risk being without underwear!
