I do not love my family. I don't like them either.

I used to, but much of it was dying for their approval that I could never of done enough to earn. Once I wasn't giving to them, they dropped me. There's so much more to it that's messed up. Lies, sexual abuse, greed...

But I'm the bad guy. I'm tired of hearing about it. I'm so ready to put all of it and all of them in my past that I don't care about anymore.

Can relate to some of those. Most of them I haven’t spoken to in over a decade now if not more

Better off since for me at least

@Teggy It's better to keep distance from some people including family.

I am the villian of my mom's life and I'm okay with that. If she needs me to be that, I'm good.

Sometimes, walking away is the best thing for everyone.

@FoxyGoddess I agree very much.

If they abused you, you’re definitely not the bad guy for not being fond of them.
ScreamingFox · 41-45, F
@Younameit they don't see it that way, but I know I'm not the bad guy.

Standards that can’t ever be met. Not even worth trying. Their approval isn’t needed to be happy.
ScreamingFox · 41-45, F
@SpectralMourning it isn't. I spent so much life trying to deserve their love but it was a waste.
