And my Nonna is slowly trying to adjust to being a spectator. My uncle and cousin have taken over much of the tasks tending the farm, but he can’t make any serious changes without including the family, and especially my father.

My parents return to Rome later today. My brother has some time off before his next rotation and he will be travelling to Palermo for a long weekend.
