just when you think a family event is going to suck, but it turns out to be so good.

my family came over for a little house warming party and we made a fire outside after we ate. then most of us randomly agreed to play cops and robbers in the dark. it was lots of screaming, laughing, and yelling. it felt so good to be hiding, chasing, running and getting caught.

it really brought me back to my childhood. there was a mix of adults and kids and everyone genuinely had fun.
