My brother is getting fit and is making great progress.

My little brother has always been the overweight one in the family. Well him and dad but dad's been deceased for years. My brother has been hitting the gym regularly since march and is feeling better. He has more energy, he walks faster and feels more confident. His goal is to break 300lbs by christmas. He's at 324lbs down from 346lbs. Our big brother has been joining him at the gym too and I should probably go too but I'm kinda lazy. He also deleted his doordash account cause homeboy would legit order food for himself and stuff his face and not share.

Cut carbs and sugar.

At his current size, it’s not unusual for him to be able to lose that in a month. With proper diet, it should be pretty easy.

6oz of protein twice a day. Vegetables, no problem…

I went from 227 to 187 in three months and have kept the weight off for the last four years.

@Adogslife exactly, and watch the calories. Exercise and activity are great but when losing weight it’s all about the caloric deficit. You can’t out exercise a bad diet.

Congrats to both you and the OP’s brother!

@CaliCanadianAngela Ty, CCA. I’m getting older so health and fitness are even more important.

But, the biggest incentive to diet - obesity will kill you early. It’s just a fact.
