Mom is really not doing well.

She's been in the hospital for a couple of days and her liver is definitely diseased but they're not sure with what yet. Hasn't eaten much of anything in three days.

She and I have never gotten along very well but I still hate to see her going through this. She looks like she's aged a decade in the past six months.

@faery I hope so too. :) She has a tumor on her liver and might also have one on her gallbladder. She's had one behind her eye for a couple of years now and they warned her that it might metastasize to her liver if left untreated. She did one round of treatments for it and then decided to stop and just let it take its course.

@thepeculiarpanda Some people choose to let nature take it's course. Have to respect that, but liver troubles can make you feel miserable, so it's understandable she's seeking relief. Hopefully they can ease her discomfort whether or not her trouble is serious and whether or not she wants to treat it aggressively. It's hard to rest knowing mom is ailing, whether or not you get along well. I hope your mind will be at ease sooner than later.

@faery Thank you. :3 There's some other stuff going on that's also adding to the stress and I just need all of it to calm down haha. I know life doesn't work like that though. 😅

@thepeculiarpanda It will calm down, though, eventually... although never 100%, but for the most-part. The good times come and go at their own pace with no rhyme or reason, it seems. Hang in there!
