That'll become easier with time. The world is not easy right now on anyone, especially those young. Rents and cost of living spiralling down some black hole towards oblivion. Isn't it ironic when you get a little bit older you see, maybe, you learn their lessons were actually a push where you pushed away? I don't know if that's your story, but it's often young adults are screaming to get away from their parents, then later see the blessing(s) they gave them?

I don't know if being independent is fun or not, but I can't wait to find out
