Instant heat gas fired. Never runs out and quite economical😷
@whowasthatmaskedman I had a tankless gas one (Bosch) and found it disappointing. The duty cycle guaranteed a plug of cold water sandwiched between two times of hot water. "Endless" hot water was hype, not fact.

@SomeMichGuy I dont know what to tell you. Ours never runs cold and we have had it for years now. The only issue we have is that its delivery pressure drops if we run two outlets plus the washing machine at once. Heaven help the person under the shower..😷
@whowasthatmaskedman The issue you have can be greatly mitigated by using a hot manifold and running all the hot water runs from that (it splits pressure drops across all the hot water lines), which is typical for PEX installations, I think.

My issue is that the "endless hot water" litch is not borne out in practice...nor can it be with any unit which has a duty cycle on the heating portion.

@SomeMichGuy I think we have a misunderstanding. In ours the water is heated as it runs inside a heating "box" within the unit. So the water goes in cold and comes out consistently hot. We could solve our problem by purchasing a larger unit capable of pushing through more water. But how often does a house have three hot taps running at once?😷

@SomeMichGuy Now I understand..In our case, maybe we should have chosen a larger capacity unit. Three bathrooms and two kitchens, plus the laundry is a challenge. But as I am on my own here now the problem never occurs..😷
