Today was a really good day...
I organised a trip to the zoo for my nephew, my friends son and my son to go to.
It was so much fun. The boys are 3, 2 and 7 months old.
But what's really nice is that they all found ways to get on with each other.
My nephew was unbelievably excited, calling out the animal names.
My friends son is really shy and takes some time to warm up to you. As soon as my nephew found out his name, he kept calling him and encouraging him to find the animals with him.
Before long they were running together towards the play area and wanting to take photos of the animals.
My son although so young loved being out, he loved being able to see the gorillas and really liked the penguins.
My nephew frequently checked in with him holding his hand. What was really nice was that he was telling him what he could see.
My son smiled so much. By the time we got home he was worn out.
I couldn't have asked for a better day.
Also the weather was perfect.
We all need days like this.
