When was the last time you purchased a new car battery

Last year. If you want to talk about how much batteries cost I've got you beat. In a motorhome there are two sets of batteries. Chassis batteries that start the engine and generator. Then there are house batteries. They run everything when you are not plugged in at a campground. We have 8 house batteries. I replaced them two months ago at a cost of $3500.
