The oil & automobile lobbies. 40,000 Americans die in car crashes a year. Florida got triple penetrated by monster hurricanes just last year. Hollywood was scorched by freak wildfires. Texas and New York are being flooded in unison and still we keep burning more and more fossil fuels.
Meanwhile undocumented immigrants contribute to our economy, pay taxes, and commit violent crimes at a lower rate than natural born citizens. China, Russia, and the US have lots of bad blood, but they don't attack us and we don't attack them. We just sit across the pond and stare at each other menacingly. The oil companies are the ones actually killing us.
