How do I deal, father with end-stage COPD?

Too many flare ups, the crackling sounds while breathing are getting worse. They gave him 4 months. every day could be the last.
Today he was worse compared to last week.
Nobody is really ready to sit down to talk through this yet.

I'm sorry but you need to have the discussion. I've been there. He needs to be in hospice and made comfortable. Whether he is awake or not, he does hear you and know you are there. Think " what would I want if I was here?". Sending prayers.
