Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda, Didnt

I am interested to know anyones things they wish they had done, and regret not doing because its just too late now.
My father passed away over 40 years ago. I never did sit him down and tell him with the greatest respect that I wasnt going to see or do things his way, no matter how much he refused to insist his was the only way to be right.
But I suppose having kids and grandkids who still love and care about me made my point..😷

I wish that I had taken an interest in learning ethnic dishes from my grandmother. No one including my aunt and mother could cook them. Now it's gone. Maybe it worked out because I'd have no one to teach them to. Cooking and family story telling, both important to generations past means very little now.

On a lighter note, I wish I had appreciated my 18 yo body. I looked the very best I'd ever look. Nothing going south, no wrinkles, fine lines, aches, pains.

@dragonfly46 Every scar, line and wrinkle is a medal in the battle of life. Your story is written on your skin and in every joint. And there are people who will want to read it..😷
