Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda, Didnt

I am interested to know anyones things they wish they had done, and regret not doing because its just too late now.
My father passed away over 40 years ago. I never did sit him down and tell him with the greatest respect that I wasnt going to see or do things his way, no matter how much he refused to insist his was the only way to be right.
But I suppose having kids and grandkids who still love and care about me made my point..😷

My parents and 3 siblings were killed by a drunk driver while on vacation years ago. I have gone thru survivors guilt for a long time. I often wish i had been with them. Maybe i could have made a difference but maybe not.

@lissah I don't see how you could have made a difference. What a terrible loss, but you don't deserve the guilt feelings.

@ThePatientAnarchist idk but they died immediately except for my youngest brother who was ejected but died from his injuries hours later. I lknow i don't deserve the guilt but i still remember the last moments before they left that day
