A Lovely 55th Birthday Party

That was a wonderful time!

Thanks to my wife, Kaz for organising that.

Teachers...they have fantastic organisational skills!

We had an old hall room, kitted out, for my birthday. Beers, wines, spirits, pop...all sorts. Likewise with nibbles - Indian cuisine, crisps, veggie batons etc - around the outside

Gina, Sabrina & Shabs - my girls - Jasmin, my granddaughter, and various friends and neighbours were there too. Around 50 people, or so, in total. Kids....and little tots.

Lovely cake and some nice presents - books and jewellery mainly - but the thing that did get to me was Hope.

They had this little stage made up, just her and her guitar and some backing track thing, and she played me 'Happy Birthday', as I was coming into the hall as a surprise, a la Jimi (as in Hendrix) style.

Beautiful!

Thanks all that attended. Good start to the 55th year of my existence.
