It’s easy is to turn away from the world and politics. Until you have a child, and then suddenly you’re anxious because it’s their world now.

My son is 8 months old and I’m thinking will his health care stay free as it was for me, will he be educated properly, will he be able to find work, buy a house, have money left over to have adventures with his friends.

I turned my back on the world when my friends and I came under sustained attack because of our religious beliefs, but now I need to use my votes and my actions to lay a foundation for him to build his own world.

What religious belief you had and why they were attacked?

@OriginalDumbMan My friends and I are practicing Celtic/saxon pagans. We were attacked by people who wanted to punish us for daring to have an alternative view. But we stood together her and refused to submit to intimidation.

@Ceinwyn was there physical threat?
Ceinwyn · 26-30, F
@OriginalDumbMan Well they tried to use the police to have us arrested on false accusations. And they burned down our lodge… without checking if anyone was inside. The pet rabbits we were looking after for school didn’t survive. Which we got blamed for.
@Ceinwyn Humans are strange, easily angered. They get so angry sometimes that they believe it is OK to murder if someone doesn't fall into line with them. They would murder anyone and not think they did anything wrong.
Poor bunnies.
