Not All Arguments Push Couples Apart — Sometimes They Bring Them Closer.
When I was young, my parents sometimes argued — usually in the kitchen, with Mom cooking and Dad picking some random arguement I barely understood. It drove me crazy. I’d grab Dad’s hand, lead him upstairs to the balcony, and promise to bring him his favorite tea. But by the time I returned, he was already back in the kitchen, arguing again. Fed up, I turned to my sister for advice. She just gave me a smug look. That’s when it hit me: Dad didn’t care about the argument. He just wanted to be near Mom. My sister had figured it out long ago — and after that, I stopped interfering.
