Funny Thing Today.
It's holidays, up where I live, from school for the kids and so our 7 year old is off.
I had a friend over today and we were doing stuff with my daughter. Anyways, the conversation - as usual with her - turns to how children are these days.
The whole 'ipad generation' etc.
So we're mumbling on and my 7 year old pips up with "You remember mummy when I used to say that I couldn't walk no more?"
I had to think. Couldn't quite remember.
So, she told me.
"You'd say 'Suck it up, princess! You can't walk no more because your legs haven't been trained to...' then you'd say '...and that means you need to walk more to train them!'"

That does sound like me! Lol!
But, in fairness, our little princess does walk - and run - and likes to spend time in the garden, or reading books - real books! - and does a lot of things that doesn't really need a battery, a screen and some wifi!
I'm proud of that. Proud of her.
