Do you hold your children’s hand by wrapping their hand in the poem of yours??

I’m curious for all of your parents, do you let your children hold your finger, or do you hold their hand in yours when out and about walking?

For instance my girls Hannah and Rylee both hold my hand. Rylee is four and Hannah is 7. For those ages do you let them hold onto your hand, or do you wrap your hand around theirs?
