When I was told this by my friend.....
The next time I decide to visit so and so do not be left alone with their child.
Now I know many children are prone to accidents and can be clumsy at times but due to the chain of events I have witnessed. Staying clear from the child while alone with them would be best especially if I don't have visual backup or proof.
So I stumbled across a post on their social media today that was posted two years ago so I believe the child was 4. Apparently he had a accident at a daycare that consist of him bumping his head on a pole from playing. The mom took him to the ER and they said he had ruptured ear. Knowing what I know now since the boy just turned 6 he does like to play fight and cannonball in the pool so the ruptured ear could of happened at anytime because now the mom wanted to see the video just in case a student pushed him etc. And people were telling her to get an attorney since the daycare didn't have the video saved.
But from me being around him for only a week or two I have had several encounters with him during Spring Break and he is a huge liability. He came up to me twice while his eyes was glued to a game on his mom phone to show me something completely unaware of me preparing a salad. Then he came in the kitchen on his bike and if I would of turned too quick who knows where the butterknife would of hit. I also had a glue gun(luckily it wasn't the one that burns skin) and I sat way away from him but he jumped off the couch to a spinning sofa and was coming closer to me while he was watching tv and I told him to keep a distance etc etc. Plus his mom and uncle sometimes would be in their own room with the door closed either asleep or working their remote job while the boy is out in the living room. And when picking him up from school his hand was crushed by the door where his mom asked him "Was it an accident, did you or the school staff closed the door?" etc. But yea when I told his mom and uncle about the kitchen and glue gun incident they both told me it wasn't a big deal. She even told me when calling her child to not say "Come (child's name)" because it sounds like I am calling an animal or pet. But she wanted me to come back and visit 😅
With all this said what would you do?
