Do you have motherhood PTSD? Regrets?

I'm going through a very hurtful situation concerning my 25 yr old son. He's disrespectful to me and blames me for his problems. Everyone that knows me has always saw me as a good mom. To make matters worst, he just had a baby and I haven't seen the child due to drama with the child's mom. It makes me angry inside when I think of all the sacrifaces I've made in my life. Drugs (weed, pills) are also involved so I assume that's part of the reason for their behavior.

@BeautifulLibra You should be very careful in your interactions with your son and his family. Many times in such situations someone gets killed. It's in the news all the time.

So, it might prove useful to simply ask your son and his wife if they want you to have any relationship with them. If they say "NO" then thank them for their honest answer and say "goodbye" and walk away.

@Diotrephes This situation has gotten very intense already, and you're right. I've already walked away. My grandson will look for me or I will for him in the future if I'm still here. Thanks for your advice.

@Diotrephes This situation makes me regret having a child. It's a very sad feeling. The heartwrenching pain and emotional betrayal.

When I got divorced from my second wife we had a bad relationship so I never saw my yound daughter again until after she had gotten married and came to visit me and we now have a very good relationship. She says that my ex-wife is on the crazy side. Around the time of my divorce there was a story in the paper about how a guy had killed his ex-wife and child. I'm glad I didn't go down that road because I met a wonderful woman and we were married for 39 years until she died.

So, try to remain calm and never, ever, get in any kind of argument with your son or his wife. You can see how some people flip out on the Steve Wilkos Show
