Spend Your 'Pocket Money' On....
Our 10 year old was having a rare opportunity just checking out YouTube videos yesterday on one of our tablets and started grinning and ran over to me and Kaz to show us something.
Just like the cat that got the cream...
So...10 years old....bit of an 'old head on young shoulders' you could say when it comes to music...she loves Steve Vai...she loves Frank Zappa too....very complicated music....off the beaten path.
Just over 3 years ago she started playing guitar, initially taught by Kaz - who'd had 6 months of lessons at that point - and then off in the stratosphere, teaching herself via various websites lessons - Lick Library here in the UK - and has got to the point that earlier this year she's started GIVING lessons herself.
I know I'm a parent, but...by god, she is pretty amazing!
The Guitar Lessons? Payable gig. She's making good money.
Anyways....back to the story : She shows this video of the new Steve Vai practice amp...something, she says, she can take to her lessons.

She smiles. Shows us these videos....and then says "I'm going to spend my money on this, mummy.."
Makes us proud...
