lesson learned from basement flooding
thought i had water problems solved between a whole house generator and a zoeller 1\2 horse sump pump and LOTS of drain pipe in yard. the pump chose to seize up during recent hurricane debby. only 5 years old and was working fine in springtime.
replacing with liberty\victory pump with 5 year warranty
anyone else with pump problems...make sure you have a check valve screwed into the pump discharge!! i am also going to install an in-line check valve for extra protection. i have a plastic grill covering the pit to keep critters and debris out also.
