Need advice

I have a cousin that is very toxic and every time they come around the just keep having dips at us and it upsets mum and it upsets my sister very much but they do not say anything what should I do

Why does your cousin have this power over you ?
Why does your mother not put him straight and say if he refuses to be respectful he's no longer welcome ?

I wouldn't tolerate that kind of behaviour from anyone.
