Sucks losing an immediate family member

We may not have been close, but it still hurts, thinking of what could have been and how much she struggled in life.
And how she won't be here anymore at events, holidays and rare family outings.

I know that I made great effort in trying to revive/repair the relationship, even though we never really had one from the start.

Feels like a bad dream, but I guess it gets better with time?
