I have lost my parents when I was 7 years old. I can’t recall a memory where they specifically told me or instructed me to be gentle or kind
By my heart overflows with a tingly gentle feeling whenever I think about them
And I only think of them as kind people.

I remember how my dad used to say to my mom
“If I have only one night remaining in my lifetime I’d want it to be with her and I’d stay awake in the night ( darkness ) of her eye and it would be the best night of my life “

My mom used to tell me
“Do you see how vast the ocean is ? As vast as the ocean I love you. Do you see how far the sky is ? As far as this distance I love you. As vast as the ocean and as far as the sky I love you “

My dad used to tell me

“And you think you are a little speck and within you the whole world has spread open “

They used to nickname me sugar cube, the apple of their eye , the soul of their soul and far more.

I remember how my dad would hurry up and to shower me and my sisters and dress up after we play at the beach because he didn’t want my mom to get up and tire herself instead he wanted her to enjoy her time out

After my parents passed away
And even years later
People would knock our door and cry when they hear about their death
People who aren’t related to us but whom my parents helped in secret

I love them.
I wish I could see them now
Cherish them and hold them
Even if it’s just in a dream
@Moon3624 Absolutely beautiful. ❤️
