Personal background: Part of the reason I left "the church," was the church had no backbone. While I don't believe there is any reason not to sit in that bench, the fact that the rainbow now represents a political movement, rather than a promise from God, really does disappoint me. It does "the people" no good to become a victim of the very people accused of playing the victim.
