how many kids did you have at my age
curious parents I'll be 24 next sunday. I have 6 kids ranging from 6 months to 8 years old. How many kids did you have at my age and how old were they?

Will say though...
I think it's perfect if she's got a husband. He's got six little tax offsets, the hand me downs don't go old style, the siblings all have contemporary assists inside the home and chores are scarcer and less burdensome on the kids.
All her kids will be graduated before she's 40. Plus she can still have enough years left to start a career if she wants. If the kids and parents pow wow and decide to get jobs to start a family business they have the economic horsepower.

@SteelHands well good that you got them all done early but bad because six pregnancies in x amt of years is so hard on the body. And she’s completely reliant on her husband financially unless she has wealthy parents because those are the years for maxing income potential. But children are a blessing. It’s just a lot to take on at that age.
I have five kids, and no the chores don’t get offset until they are much older. It’s chaos for the first ten years.same goes for the career, childcare costs are too high to prioritize education and career until later. You need the career first, otherwise you’re significantly delaying your start and retirement savings. Unless you live off the govt

@Flenflyys I have twins so it was 5 pregnancies and I'm not completely reliant on my husband's income I have a degree and I'm a kindergarten teacher at the school my kids attend. We also have a home free of rent or mortgage payments thanks to my uncle who my husband works for making same arrangement with my husband upon graduation he did his own children as long he graduated. My husband has been working for him since he was 13.

@Flenflyys he started out from humble beginnings though my grandmother younger brother he is and they grew up in house without even running water for most my grandmother childhood I think he was 5 when they got it

@Flenflyys I don't think it was in the 1960s but he inherited his father's sawmill and added more business to it now owns 3 businesses and several houses he rents out the house we live in was originally his oldest sons but my cousin built his own home a few years before we moved into it
