Forgiveness

My step mom is a ex-alcoholic/smoker. She always treated me differently than her biological son, yelled at me, but when she would be done yelling she would take me to mcdonalds or to get some candy at the gas station and all of a sudden would be lovey dovey towards me. She has recently gotten better with drinking and I don't see her as much as I did when I was like 9-10. Idk should i forgive her? I still want to love her and have a connection w her
