Do children deserve apologies and explantions from parents ?

If a parent did them wrong, yes. And that’s also a vice versa situation… Basically humans aren’t infallible and often screw up in their relationships. Apologies should be a common part of our interactions. If parents lead by example in this area, it might cultivate the self awareness in their children to know when they’ve let someone down and need to say “I’m sorry”. Entitled people don’t apologize. Narcissistic people don’t apologize. Be very wary of those who act like an apology is some impossible thing to do.
