Do children deserve apologies and explantions from parents ?

Parents who can't admit that they make mistakes and act like they're always right just bc they pay the bills do not deserve children at all

@deadgerbil Right... BUT: We know that it's sex that causes children, not brains. So there's no 'Deserving' involved, it just happens. Some parents were never raised by their own parents and are now 'stuck' in the situation of having to raise children as they experienced their childhood.... not a very pleasant experience on either side.
Given the other side of this discussion about (let's say) wealthy and educated parents who are selfish and hire others to raise their children so they don't have to show responsibility for them: YOU'RE DEFINITELY RIGHT.

@JollyRoger yeah, lots of people hate their own childhoods but then go on to perpetuate the cycle
