Do you look like your parent?

I once went to the Palace of Versailles at fifteen and saw my profile in the Hall of Mirrors. A slim happy guy with dark brown hair.

I went again at fifty and saw this time my father.

Thankfully I did not see his personality.

Mom’s features, Pop’s coloring and personality. When I was a baby, people would say, "she looks just like her father and she’s quiet like he is." Now everyone sees my mother when they look at me. Still not outgoing like was, though. 😊
