What lie did your parents tell you that you absolutely knew was a lie?

@hunkalove When I was a kid, the Quaker Oats guy was my idea of what God looked like -

At that age when I saw that, I thought, "That guy is probably some boring politician"

@Punches There are SO many of those... Schumer and that quizzical-looking turtle guy on the other side lead the way I think.

@SW-User I always thought He looked like an angry old Jewish guy with heartburn in a long white robe and long white hair and beard just looking for victims to punish.
