S/he will experience many emotional struggles .

However there will come a time where like most times in life he will need to decide if he uses his early experiences to strengthen his character...go out in the world and turn those negatives into positives for the younger generations.

Or if on the otherhand he allows the negatives to continuously drag him down.

I know quite a few adult survivers of the abuses youve mentioned, who have gone on to work with children ..ushered them toward a safer life.

Or in the negative , they have gone on to a waking hell of self abuse Alcohol, recreational drugs, bleu bleu bleu

Yeah its all about choices really. Then one day soon enough the game is over .
@Kae20 A psychiatrist once said to me, "You should be psychotic. I have no explanation for why you're not psychotic."

@flipper1966 I would say Psychopaths are born not made. They are rarely shaped by their childhood / or life experiences.

Ie the seed of psychopathy is already within the newborn child. So then as the baby grows the derangement matures and is finally excersised.

Initially there is a fascination with the natural cycle of life & death. This facination becomes Interceeded with an urge or desire to inflict pain.

To cause and watch suffering becomes a chilhood game. Murder being the preferred conclusion to such games.

Insects and animals first. Humans finally.
Psychopaths are always born and never made.
@Kae20 Not referring to psychopaths. I am referring to psychotic mental illness, like schizophrenia.

@flipper1966 appolgies I misunderstood that you meant ' Psychosis instead. I would still disagree with your psychiatrist. As meantal illiness yet again is very often the product of our DNA .

The only reason a difficult childhood would induce " Psychosis " is if the client had both zero emotional and mental reserves to stave of irrational behaviour.

Fortunately a sane person ...will always seek to rationalise.

The insane simply do not pocess the ability to do this .
@Kae20 Studies show that a child's environment can trigger certain genes to activate. Child abuse can trigger schizophrenia in a child who has the dormant genes for schizophrenia.

@flipper1966 yes sometimes as you rightly say. There are extenuating factors which can bring on a Mental health Psychosis , particularly when the dna strain lies dormant.

Its also worth while remembering that even when the external environment is one of calm and stability. Factoring in dna a Psychosis can still be experienced.

Suddenly from out of nowhere it can seem.

Our dna is all too often an overriding factor in how our overall health pans out.

As internally speaking when it comes down to genetic inheritance there is no off switch.
