Which is the tougher job, being a spouse or being a parent?

Also, why?

Being the spouse. Parenting just feels like a job and responsibility… you just figure it out every day.

Marriage can probably be easy but you and your spouse have to work on it together. Add into the fact that you’re two changing human beings… no. I wasn’t meant for it and I feel bad about signing up. I tried.
the fact that you describe parenting like that leaves me to believe that you aren’t married anymore and only see ur kids on the weekends.. @JovialMoose

@deathfairy I am still married (not for long). And I’m sitting next to my son who had a good freshman year in college.

I don’t mean “it’s a job.” I just mean that you figure kids out (like you do your job). They are easy.
