What do you do only once a week ?

@Nimbus I bought a really good Belgian waffle maker during the Covid era and they don’t stick to it at all. Put a little oil or melted butter in the waffle batter is the only thing I need to do. Have made a lot of waffles in different flavors, including gluten-free. Brownie-Walnut is my favorite flavor, but have also made waffles out of mashed potatoes, egg, baking powder & a little salt. They are really good but need to be cooked about 4-5 minutes longer due to the moisture in the potatoes. Even the boy likes them. And not as much oil as making potato cakes for breakfast, they suck up the oil. Last one I made for him was vanilla-chocolate chip, and he said it was really good. I am going to make him an applesauce-cinnamon waffle soon.

I bought a George Forman grill and it sat at the back of the cupboard for a full 5 years :)

@Nimbus I found one at the university that a student threw out after move-out, it’s a small one but I have gotten a lot of use out of it. If I’m making pizza and want to make it a Sriracha chicken pizza I diced up the chicken and coat with Sriracha sauce and cook it in the grill while I am making the crust and slicing up onions etc.

@Nimbus sorry. But they are so easy to make I don’t even use a recipe any more. I just eyeball it to get the proportions right and create whatever flavors I am in the mood for…for the waffles that is. That George Foreman grill makes grilling easy, doesn’t smoke up the kitchen either.
