Don't listen.
Even when they do listen, forget immediately.
Forget birthdays and anniversaries.
Forget anything that's important to her.
Whine if they spend 5 minutes helping, while she's working for hours.
Whine if they get the sniffles, while expecting her to perform while pregnant,
and immediately after having the baby.
Are never there for you when you really need them.

@AbbeyRhode you nailed it ..another.... hubby asking why your tired after they put in an 8 hour day at work, you've been up during the night, taking care of the children, up at 6:15a for a few alone minutes before your day starts, get the kids up, make breakfast, lunch, send them out the door, get ready yourself, plan something for supper, throw a load of laundry in the washer, so it can be dried that evening, work, pick up and run kids to after school activities, get home, make dinner, throw clothes in dryer, clean up , help kids with homework, fold clothes as your watchibg tv, bathe and help kids to bed, plan on tomorrow's activities, setting things out that will be needed, finally making it in bed, then hubby wants to get romantic.. . Take care of his needs, clean up ... turn off the light at 11p, then wake as a child cries from a bad dream at 2a.. ... settle and quiet them down, rub their back until they fall asleep.... start the cycle again in 3 hours... what i would have done just for an 8 hour work day .....

@Kstrong Exactly! Then he comes home from work whining about his day, and goes out with the boys for drinks, because he "needs to relax".

@AbbeyRhode so true, or needs down time in front of the tv, so he can unwind
AbbeyRhode · F
@Kstrong While she keeps slaving away.

@AbbeyRhode so true! I got tired of it! Now with a man that appreciates me
AbbeyRhode · F
@Kstrong Good to hear! Same for me, all those negatives apply to my ex. The man I'm with now is my dream come true. :)

@AbbeyRhode after giving birth to our son, the ex asked, "how bad could it really hurt?!" I was livid! Id been awake for 26+ hours, 16 of that in labor, pushing a bowling ball out a hole the size of a half dollar! "How bad do you think itd hurt?!!!"
AbbeyRhode · F
@Kstrong What a jerk. Mine was almost as bad. All he could think of was how soon we could have sex afterward. 🙄

@AbbeyRhode same here! After having my insides stretched beyond belief. Not wanting to wait the 6 weeks so I could heal. The doctor commenting, "my hes got a big head!" My response, "No joke, I could have told you that 20 minutes ago!"
AbbeyRhode · F
@Kstrong Awww. The one good thing about being with a jackass is, it makes us appreciate a good man. :)

@AbbeyRhode saying i gained weight after 36 years of being together, having put on 30 pounds since i was 17. Surviving a head on-collision at 22, multiple injuries... then pregnant and birthing his 2 children before i was 27....
