Kid with a golden heart

My 4-year-old nephew saw that his neighborhood park was trashed, and started picking up the mess so that it was clean enough for everyone to play at. 🥹 He does that for his own yard at home, of his own accord, just because it’s his nature to find solutions he can handle to problems he sees. It’s also his nature to think of and to gift others. Last year, I was in the hospital around Christmastime, and he put together a present for me. (A baseball, all wrapped up. 🤭🥰)

This year, he decided he wanted to give presents to everyone. He’s been going through his toys and picking out which ones he thinks are best for each person in his life. At first, my sister was going to tell him you don’t gift used things; but then she decided she was going to let him express his precious little heart without imposing some rule that would limit that just because she was scared of looking rude. He’s a giving person, and she doesn’t want him thinking everything is about money.

Since I visit them the most, he gave me my present early. Then he insisted I open it immediately even though it wasn’t Christmas yet. It was a bucket of dinosaur toys.
“Thank you! I love this. I’m going to put them in my garden so that it looks cool.”

“No, you have to play with them,” he informed me since I didn’t seem to know what they were for. 🤭
I love him.
